We’re delighted to announce that Norwich City Community Sports Foundation has signed up to use the Coordinate Sport web app.
Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is the Premier League football club’s charity arm, committed to helping people across Norfolk to achieve their goals by delivering quality, innovative services through football and sport.
The Foundation will be using Coordinate Sport to support the delivery of its sports and activity programmes, and to manage compliance across its extensive coaching team.
Using Coordinate Sport, the management team aims to reduce paper admin and streamline internal communications. It will also ensure that essential documentation, such as school risk assessments, are completed and stored in a secure, central application.
Before using Coordinate Sport, the deployment and compliance had been done manually – and this process was becoming a huge administrative burden. Managing the busy schedule, a growing coaching team and extensive compliance documentation, on a combination of spreadsheets, word documents, emails, letters, reports and phone calls was a full time job.
Paul Harding, Compliance, Impact and Inclusion Manager at Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, said:
Coordinate Sport will make a huge difference to the foundation. We employ more than 75 different coaches spread around the region – delivering hundreds of projects and activities to thousands of people across Norfolk every week. Working with children and vulnerable people means that Safeguarding and compliance are really important.
Coordinate Sport brings everything together into a single platform – improving communication and scheduling, reducing errors and streamlining admin. As the foundation continues to expand and develop, it will help support the delivery of our programmes, and make a difference in the lives of the people we work with.
Going forward, the foundation will also be using Coordinate Sport to manage timesheets, to optimise the payroll process for its coaches on flexible hours.
As part of its work in the community, the foundation supports more than 38,000 people each year – working with children and adults alike. Its dedicated coaching team works with some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk, providing a wide range of sports and wellbeing activities.
In addition to football coaching, the foundation also delivers school sports, disability programmes and health and wellbeing support to people of all ages and abilities across the county.
