If you are applying for a job with us

Information we collect

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

The data we collect can be grouped together as follows:

  • Identity Data includes first name, last name or title
  • Contact Data includes home address, email address and telephone numbers
  • Financial Data includes bank account details to either reimburse expenses or if successful for payroll
  • Employment Data includes history of previous roles
  • Education Data includes all your education data
  • Special Category Data not for all candidates, but we may require health data only to make the necessary adjustments for interviews etc.

 

How we collect your data

We use different methods to collect data from you including through:

  • Direct interactions. You may give us your Identity and Contact Data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you:
    • enquire about vacancies
    • applying for jobs
    • sending us your CV
  • Third parties such as Recruiters/agencies and job advertising platforms.

 

How is your data used

In simple terms we use your data to determine your suitability for the role applied for. More specifically, and dependent on your privacy choices, your data is used for the following purposes:

Marketing

We will not share your data with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing.

Change of purpose – your data will only be used for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If you wish to get an explanation as to how the processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us at privacy@coordinate.cloud

If we need to use your data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

 

Who we share your data with

There are certain circumstances where we share your data, for example, we may share your data with third-party service providers who provide data processing services to us, for example, payment processing, technical infrastructure, email and other technical support.

Your data may be transferred to other third party organisations in certain scenarios:

  • if we discuss selling or transferring part or all of our business – the information may be transferred to prospective purchasers under suitable terms as to confidentiality
  • if we are reorganised or sold, information may be transferred to a buyer who can continue to provide services to you
  • if we’re required to by law, or under any regulatory code or practice we follow, or if we are asked by any public or regulatory authority – for example the Police
  • if we are defending a legal claim your information may be transferred as required in connection with defending such claim

 

Your data may also be shared with third parties if it is made anonymous and aggregated. In such circumstances the information will cease to be personal data.
