ukactive has announced this year’s finalists for the prestigious ukactive Awards. This year, the awards will be held in Leeds at the Royal Armouries and will be taking place on the 26th of October. The awards come after a challenging year for the sector, with rising energy costs impacting projects across the country.
STA, the Swimming Teacher’s Association, will be the headline sponsor for the event. The organisation is set to play a pivotal role in supporting ukactive, representing 18,000 members, many of which have been affected by dilapidating pools and the current energy crisis.
Entries for the event include organisations, operators, and suppliers from both the public and private sectors.
