GOALS, a storytelling programme, has collaborated with 40 people living and working in Qatar. From November 2021, a diverse set of people recorded their first-person perspectives on football culture and community in the run-up to Qatar 2022.

More than 20 nationalities are represented by the participants, with the majority of them being women. Participants developed new storytelling skills and on November 7th, were given a global platform to share their experiences.

Their stories have been captured through a variety of different of mediums, including photography, the written word and video content. Content will be launched across Goal Click platforms, with a physical exhibition available from November 16th through to December 9th 2022.

The programme has been delivered in collaboration with Goal Click, The Sports Creative and the Qatar Foundation.

The founder of Goal Click, the leading organisation for the creation of the project commented on the launch of the programme:

“So much has been said and written about the Qatar 2022 World Cup without hearing from those who have been impacted by it the most: the people living and working in Qatar. The GOALS series enables a global audience to see life in Qatar through the eyes of those experiencing it on a daily basis.”
