Last week the National Fitness Day Activity Finder was launched in the run-up to the event on Wednesday 22nd September. The Activity Finder aims to help people of varying abilities and experiences find events hosted across the country.

The hub will be populated with available events held by fitness and leisure operators, sports clubs, and community groups across the UK. The day comes after an incredibly successful Olympics and Paralympics in Tokyo this year.

As well as physical events, there will be a range of online workouts in everything from yoga to bodyweight exercises hosted by professional trainers from TRX Training Club. They will be opening their online platform for a range of free inclusive events.

School children are also encouraged to get involved with the 10@10 synchronised activity in classrooms, playgrounds or during assemblies, where they will get to be active altogether across the country for 10 minutes.

To help publicise the event on what will be its 10th anniversary, look for the hashtag #FitnessDay and post your plans up to and including the day.

See here for more information, and to register for your free events, see here.
