The Rugby Football Union (RFU) called for evidence last month on sustaining and future-proofing rugby provisions in schools. The organisation considers schools an essential part of introducing children and young people to the union and ensuring a positive association as they develop.
As part of their talent development, they are addressing the challenges and opportunities across an array of schools in both primary and secondary environments. RFU has set up a semi-independent review to ensure they remain in tune with school development and are fit for the 21st century.
