After a trying year for swimming pools and leisure centres, a new Swimming Pool Support Fund is now open for applications. The new fund is open to all swimming pool operators and includes a £20m revenue fund with a £40m pot for capital investment to help pools become more energy efficient.
Operators can apply to the fund through their local authorities, and the funding will be made available in September 2023. The £20m revenue fund closes on August 11th, having been split into two separate funds to help pools.
As part of the Spring Budget, operators are encouraged to apply to keep their public facilities open.
