UK Sport has made 18 awards from their National Governing Body Development Fund to help NGBs support their organisational health. The awards are designed to give NGBs more support in running effective and sustainable organisations.
Launched in September 2022, the awards are in line with UK Sport’s 2021-31 Strategic Plan and are measured against the following areas:
- Strategy and Growth
- People and Skills
- Standards and Risk
- Relevance and Impact
The NGB Development Fund was part of the research from the organisation that found that improving organisational health was key to creating better NGBs. NGBs that could generate greater revenue and improve member experience whilst creating positive cultures within.
