CIMSPA strikes strategic partnership with Google to support the free Digital Marketing Hub for sport and physical activity

CIMSPA’s newly announced strategic partnership with Google will give the sports and activities industry greater access to digital marketing upskilling. The partnership aims to strengthen digital marketing skills completely free of charge for individuals and small businesses in the sector.

The Digital Marketing Hub aims at helping people and organisations in the sector harness digital marketing to better market their businesses. The hub is designed to help people and organisations in lieu of research performed by Sport England that found that more than 60% of respondents don’t have a clear plan to deliver through digital channels.

The partnership will give all participants the capacity to gain free advice and resource from Google experts. They will have access to:

  • Tailored 1-to-1 mentoring from digital experts at Google
  • A series of 12 Google Digital Garage live webinars designed to get your business discovered online and find new customers
  • Signposting to specific and relevant courses available in the Google Digital Garage


Supported by National Lottery funding and the expertise of Sport England, the hub will include a wealth of resources, including expert webinars, on-demand training and mentorship.
