This year’s finalists for the Community Sport and Recreation Awards have now been announced. The awards, which celebrate the positive impact of grassroots sport, will now include three new categories.
These categories emphasise the effect that Covid-19 has had and the great strides the industry has made.
The ceremony taking place online on the 11th March will now include the Resilience in Adversity Award, the Sustainable Programme Award and the Diversity Inclusion Award.
The finalists represent a variety of different initiatives, from diving to dancing to dog-walking. Many of the activities providers, continuing to offer support to their communities, despite successive lockdowns.
