Broadcaster Sky Sports and some of England’s footballing greats have rallied behind the Half Time Challenge for the Qatar World Cup. Youth Sport Trust’s #HalfTimeChallenge aims to inspire physical activity during the World Cup, and the social media competition looks to engage families in a series of football-based challenges.
As a Sky Cares Charity partner, Youth Sport Trust will receive all the proceeds from the World Cup Christmas Song. ‘Another Kind of England’ was produced by songwriter Martin Sutton with proceeds from the song pledged by Sky Sports News.
The song features Paul Merson, Michael Dawson, Sue Smith, Lee Hendrie and Stephen Warnock, who have more than 120 England caps between them. Pupils from Isleworth school Boulder academy also joined the star-studded chorus.
Another Kind of England is now available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and all other digital music streaming platforms.
