The Sport Industry Group’s NextGen 2023 is a professional development programme designed to create the next leaders in sport and business. This professional development programme includes extensive training, personal development, and network opportunities.
This year’s cohort will focus on areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability and social change. There are 30 applicants under the age of 30 who are accepted onto the programme each year. Having launched in 2015, there are almost 250 alumni forging a new future in the industry.
The sector is looking to what this year’s cohort will make of our current climate, with the UK facing the impact of the cost of living crisis, the new Autumn Budget and its considerations. Creativity and innovation will be of the utmost importance as the country moves towards a new normal.
