Welsh para sport star Harrison Walsh is encouraging his fellow countrymen and women to get involved in para sport. The sportsman had a life-changing leg injury in a club match for Swansea rugby club before joining the Welsh Para team and is now urging other disabled people to get involved at the Swansea Para Sport Festival this summer.
The festival will provide 5000 opportunities for participation at five competition events at different venues. The event will kick off with the Disability Sport Wales’ insport event at Swansea University on August 1st 2022.
One of the main objectives of the festival is to offer opportunities for both elite and grassroots athletes of all ages.
