ukactive have launched the collaborative project Digital Futures in partnership with Sport England to improve the application of digital fitness and leisure operators.
In the past year, partly to do with coronavirus restrictions, the public use of digital fitness options has increased. This new venture is designed to create a programme of activity to support operators through the latest benchmarking tools so they can modernise and grow.
The project aims to ultimately get more people active, especially those who are finding themselves engaging more and more with digital-based fitness. At this point, the initiative will begin to evaluate the sector’s digital maturity and effectiveness to chart progress towards meeting consumer demands.
Consultation began on the 9th of August with a questionnaire designed by Rewrite Digital, which will provide respondents with a digital maturity score.
