AfPE has now released the final report on the Sport England Secondary Training programme. They will be producing a series of presentations to help teachers, governors, and senior leadership teams absorb the key findings of the report.
In addition, AfPE also released access to curriculum resources for NBA in the Classroom and the LTA youth programme. These programmes of activities, support and training have been designed with practising teachers and are free to access.
NBA in the Classroom includes downloadable, flexible curriculum-linked teaching resources for use in PE, PSHE/Health and Wellbeing, careers, enrichment or personal development. All participating schools have the chance to win prizes for their schools, including Basketball Starter Packs worth £500 and a school basketball workshop with an NBA coach.
As an approved professional development provider, afPE has designed a programme to support the curriculum and wider school outcomes through tennis. The inclusive plans are designed by teachers and give all that complete online training a £20 reward voucher for their school.
