In December 2020 the Department for Education announced £220 million of funding for Holiday Activities and Food Programme designed to improve the health and well being of disadvantaged children across England.

During this special bonus episode of the podcast we look behind the headline to discuss the programme which has been 8 years in the making.

In our roundtable discussion we bring together partners that have been influential in research, lobbying, delivery and support of the programme.

The HAF programme being funded to such an extent gives once in a generational opportunity to create a cultural shift in society. If you are a local coordinator or partner this is a must listen. Enjoy the show.
