Our guest this episode is Robbie Simpson, Founder & Managing Director of Life After Professional Sport (LAPS).

He launched LAPS with the mission to fill the gap in support he found when his career as professional footballer seemed to be over.

Since launching, LAPS has grown to a full service platform with 5,000 current and ex-elite athlete members aged from 18 to 60.

Robbie is passionate about planning and brings his skills as a financial planning specialist and experience as a footballer to create an offer that supports athletes at a vulnerable time in their lives.

During the episode we discuss Robbie’s early life and career and how he has used his start up experience to launch and scale the organisation.
