Our guest this episode is Charlie Ford, Interim CEO of England Boxing.

Charlie is currently leading on the implementation of England Boxing’s new strategy and harnessing the potential of 23,000 boxer members and over 120,000 recreational members to build the reach of the sport and make the most of boxing’s record popularity.

During the episode we discuss Charlie’s journey in sports administration and how he transitioned from a career in finance. The importance of officials and recruiting training and retaining them to safeguard the sport moving forwards. As well as the key role boxing clubs play in the communities they serve.
